We at New Convenant Community Church of God believe...

The Bible Is The Word Of God
We believe the "HOLY BIBLE," the collection of sixty-six books from Genesis to Revelation as originally written does not contain the Word of God, but IS the Word of God. We believe the books of the Bible were written by holy men of old as they were moved by the Holy Spirit in such a definite way that their writings were supernaturally inspired and free from error, as no other writings have ever been or ever will be inspired (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1;19-21).

The Virgin Birth of Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Spirit in a miraculous manner, born of Mary, a virgin, as no other man was ever born or ever can be born of a woman (Luke 1:26-28).

Jesus Is The Son of God
We believe that Jesus Christ is the unique Son of God, the Son of God in such a way as no other person ever has been or ever can be. We believe that Jesus Christ was God manifest in the flesh (Luke 3:22; John 1:1-5;3:16).

Jesus Christ Died For The Sins Of The World
We Believe in Christ's Vicarious and substitutionary death on the cross death on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins through whom we are saved (1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Hebrews 9:11-12; 10:12).

Repentance and Faith
We believe that Repentance and Faith are solemn obligations and also inseparable graces which are wrought in our souls by the quickening Spirit of God. Repentance is changing one's mind about who Christ is and Faith is reliant trust in that changed perspective of Christ for salvation. The two are inseparable (Luke 5:32; Acts 20:21; I Peter 3:9)

Assurance Of The Believer
We believe it is the privilege of every believer to know he is saved by the absolute knowledge that is brought by the indwelling Holy Spirit and the Word of God (1 John 5:13,19; Romans 10:13)

The Lord's Supper
We believe that Jesus Christ left this ordinance as a memorial celebration to commemorate His death until He shall come again. He instructed us "as oft as we do it to do it in remembrance of Him (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

Water Baptism
We believe in being buried with Christ in water baptism as a testimony to the world of our new found salvation. This is a testimony to the world of the change that has taken place in our lives (Acts 8:37-39; Romans 6:3-4).

The Grace Of Giving
We believe that Scriptural giving is one of the fundamentals of the Christian Faith; that it is to be done regularly and proportionately; that we are under grace in the fellowship of giving, and that it is a part of our worship. We are all stewards of the gifts of God. It is required of stewards to be faithful (2 Corinthians 9:7; 2 Corinthians 8:7; 1 Corinthians 16:1).

Holy Spirit Infilling
We believe in what is called, a "second work of grace," or the "infilling/baptism in the Holy Spirit." This initial work of grace can occur at or subsequent to conversion, but is necessary for a continuous walk with the Lord. The initial baptism can be accompanied with speaking in tongues, however, we believe the natural manifestation of the initial baptism and subsequent infillings will be the believer's continued submission to the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:5,8 2:4, 3:8, 10:46)

The Great Commission
To "Evangelize" is to preach the good news of Jesus Christ to all we come in contact with. "Discipleship" involves teaching all that we win to Christ the Word of God for growth and abundant Christian living (Matthew 28:18-20).

Our Senior Pastor, Rev. Terrence W. Dudley, BA., is a graduate of Spring Arbor University. He and his wife Sabrina have two sons, Terrence II (TJ) and Erik.

OUR CONGREGATION:
New Covenant Community Church of God is a church committed to God the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. We emphasize a personal relationship with Christ and the importance of holiness in the life of every believer. We are committed to seeing the gospel preached locally, nationally and worldwide.

Our guests and visitors consistently comment on how warmly they are received when they visit our church. Our congregation is made up of caring people who work at helping everyone feel right at home!

ABOUT THE CHURCH OF GOD:
New Covenant is voluntarily affiliated with the Church of God with general offices in Anderson, Indiana. The Church of God is a movement that emphasizes the unity and holiness of all who have experienced the saving power of Jesus Christ.

A Church of God distinctive is its approach to membership. The Church of God believes that when a person accepts Jesus Christ as Savior, God places that person in the Church. Salvation alone is criteria enough for membership in any congregation of the Church of God. Membership is maintained by participating in the worship services, fellowship and ministries of the congregation.
